    Rock Hall, a 10,000 square foot historic Mediterranean Revival manor house built in 1912 by famed architect Addison Mizner, located in Connecticut’s Litchfield
    Hills/Southern Berkshires, has created an on-location wedding/renewal of vows package for same sex couples looking for an intimate, upscale location for their special
    day.  Couples can choose to wed in the glow of the massive nearly 100-year-old cast French fireplace in the great room, fireside in the privacy of their master suite,
    outside under a stone gazebo overlooking an apple orchard, or anywhere among the 23 acres of rolling hills, wildflower meadows or landscaped gardens.

    Special Introductory Promotion
    To introduce Rock Hall as a new gay-friendly destination wedding site, couples can take advantage of a special promotion that eliminates the site fee when booking a
    wedding in conjunction with reserving at least two or more room nights midweek, or three or more room nights over a weekend, up until Memorial Day Weekend 2101.  
    For example, midweek room nights for the package can include two nights for the wedding couple, or two rooms booked for one-night each for the couple and guests (or
    any combination).  A limited number of additional guests can attend the ceremony at a day-visit rate. Guests staying fewer than two nights can enjoy a reduced $250 site
    fee for the on-location ceremony, which also includes champagne and hors d’oeuvres. A “Sunrise Ceremony” option is followed by a champagne brunch in the grand
    dining room.

    With only four guest suites, Rock Hall guests enjoy top-of-the-line amenities, fireplaces, wi-fi and flat-screen televisions, as well as a sumptuous Mediterranean-style
    breakfast that includes frittatas, home-cured gravlax, artisinal breads and cheeses, fresh local produce and more.  Rock Hall guests enjoy complimentary use of the
    home’s antique billiard room, library, and movie theatre (with a full movie library and antique popcorn machine) and a marked hiking/contemplation trail.  Guests can
    also arrange for a romantic horse and carriage (or sleigh ride in season) with pick up and drop off at the front door; in-room couples massage; hot air balloon rides and
    more.  Nearby attractions also include a myriad of theatre and concert venues, skiing, fine dining, antiquing, outlet shopping, fly fishing, car racing and more.  Midweek
    room rates start at $200 per night.
